Boy Scouts of America

American Scouts BSA is open to boys and girls ages 11-17. We offer the traditional U.S. scouting experience in Paris. Scouts experience the great outdoors, grow as leaders and serve their communities.

We typically meet twice a month – once for a Troop meeting (usually at Marymount in Neuilly) and once for a campout or other outdoor activity.

Past outings include:

– Camping and hiking trips to visit battle monuments such as the beaches of Normandy and Belleau Wood;

– Canoe trips and orienteering in Burgundy;

– Sailing trips in Ile-de-France and in the South of France;

– Horseback riding & trips to Mont Saint Michel

– Camping, hiking backing & fishing in the Vosges mountains

– Camp Alpine – an annual summer camping experience in Kandersteg, Switzerland

– National Youth Leadership Training courses

– and many more

What Will I Do in Scouts BSA?

Scouts BSA is where youth explore their interests and develop skills by participating in outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and canoeing. Scouts earn merit badges along the journey and work towards achieving Scouting’s highest rank—Eagle Scout.

Who Runs Scouts BSA?

Elected youth lead their troop and run the meetings with the guidance of the Scoutmaster and other adult leaders.
